The countdown to the festival of lights !

The build up to any occasion is  more fun than the occasion itself and I'm sure many of you would agree with that. The planning, the preparations, the shopping and the actual execution of it all adds the much needed zing to an upcoming event. Here we are talking about Diwali, the festival of lights,  flowers, fabrics, family time and loads of fun along with all the festivities and the feasting. I'm trying not to focus much on the sweets though ;)
Like any other household, mine too gets ready to celebrate this lovely festival in all it's beauty. The weather is wonderful and the ambiance is amazing. So let me share some pictures of my home as it's been since the past few days . Hope you like it :)

And there are still some days left for the main occasion so you can be sure that I'll be adding some more to that collection.  Happy festivities to all :)
